Booking & Scheduling

  • All filming must be scheduled in advance and approved by Oakland Cemetery's Sexton and the Private Events Manager.

  • A detailed production schedule and site plan must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the shoot.

  • Filming may not interfere with public access, scheduled events, tours, or ongoing cemetery operations.

  • Shoots involving large crews, vehicles, or extensive setups may require special permitting or additional staff coverage.

Use of Indoor Spaces

  • Use of indoor spaces (such as the greenhouse, visitor center, and bell tower) must be approved in advance and is subject to availability and applicable rental fees.

  • These spaces must be returned in original condition, and any furniture or items moved must be returned to their original position.

  • Protective coverings (such as drop cloths, mats, or chair covers) are required on all floors, counters, and furniture used for hair and makeup.

  • All trash and materials must be removed after use.

  • The Client is fully responsible for any damage caused to the grounds, structures, or furnishings.

Parking & Load-In

  • Parking for production vehicles is limited and must be arranged in advance.

  • Paved surfaces must be used for all vehicle access. Driving on grass or walkways is strictly prohibited.
